The Pellio player also plays YouTube and Vimeo videos, and files from the Media Library, with no Pellio account needed. Nothing loads from YouTube or Vimeo until the visitor presses play (the poster is served from this site), so there are no third-party cookies or requests on page load.
Because this site is connected to Pellio, these plays also show up in the Pellio dashboard as linked videos, with per-viewer watch data (which seconds were watched) just like hosted videos.
